This page explains how Word Unscrambler handles information when you visit and use the site. If you have questions, see section 11 for contact information.

1. Overview

Word Unscrambler is a free word-finding utility. We are committed to being transparent about how the site operates and what information, if any, is collected when you use it. This policy describes our current practices. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

2. No account required

You do not need to create an account, register, or provide any personal information to use this site. There is no login, no profile, and no stored user data tied to your identity.

3. Information processed when you use the tool

When you perform a word search, your query (the letters and filter settings you enter) is sent to our server to produce results. This data is processed in memory to return a response and is not stored in a database or linked to any user profile. We do not log or retain individual search queries beyond what standard server software may write to access logs (see section 6).

4. Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently use analytics cookies or tracking scripts. We may use analytics or advertising services in the future. If enabled, those services may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own privacy policies, and we will update this policy accordingly before doing so.

5. Advertising

This site does not currently display third-party advertisements. If advertising is added in the future, ad networks may use cookies or device identifiers to serve relevant ads. We will update this policy and provide appropriate notices before enabling ads.

6. Server logs

Our hosting provider may collect standard web server access logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of your request. These logs are used for security, uptime monitoring, and debugging purposes. They are not used to build individual user profiles and are retained for a limited period consistent with our hosting provider's practices.

7. Third-party services

This site uses Google Fonts for typography, which may involve requests to Google servers when loading the page. Google's privacy policy applies to those requests. We do not use other third-party services at this time. If we add services in the future, we will list them here.

8. Children's privacy

This site is a general-purpose word utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to this site, please contact us using the address below and we will promptly address it.

9. Data security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the operation of this site. Because we do not store personal information beyond server logs, the risk of data exposure is limited. No internet transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
